Course Overview
Objectives
Vendor-neutral is the CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP) Certification. The CASP exam is a globally focused assessment of advanced security knowledge and abilities. The CASP
certification has a technical, “hands-on” focus at the enterprise level and is meant to be pursued after CompTIA Security+ or comparable experience, though there is no prerequisite. The successful
candidate will be certified by the CASP exam to possess the technical know-how needed to design, develop, integrate, and deploy safe solutions in a variety of complex contexts. In order to propose
and execute long-term security solutions that align with organizational strategies, convert business needs into security requirements, assess the impact of risks, and react to security incidents, the
candidate will use critical thinking and judgment across a wide range of security disciplines.
Recommended Experiences
A minimum of 10 years experience in IT administration including at least 5 years of hands-on technical security experience.
