Overview
Perform advanced system administration tasks, including managing the Linux kernel, handling system startup processes, and carrying out regular system maintenance; manage block storage and file systems efficiently while overseeing advanced networking, authentication, and system security configurations such as firewalls and VPNs; install and configure essential network services including DHCP, DNS, SSH, web servers, FTP, NFS, Samba file servers, and email delivery systems; and supervise technical assistants while providing guidance to management on system automation strategies and technology procurement decisions.
Descriptions
LPIC-2 is the second certification in LPI’s multi-level professional certification program. The LPIC-2 will validate the candidate’s ability to administer small to medium–sized mixed networks. The candidate must have an active LPIC-1 certification to receive LPIC-2 certification, but the LPIC-1 and LPIC-2 exams may be taken in any order.
Prerequisites
