Oracle Database 12c: Data Guard Administration

Descriptions

The Oracle Database 12c: Data Guard Administration Ed 1 training teaches participants how to effectively use Oracle Data Guard to protect Oracle databases from both planned and unplanned downtime. Led by expert instructors from Oracle University, this course demonstrates how Data Guard helps organizations build highly available systems while enabling business processing and backup tasks to be offloaded to another system. Participants will also be introduced to Oracle Database Exadata Cloud Service and gain an understanding of its role in improving database performance and reliability. By the end of the course, learners will understand how Data Guard standby databases can support production activities such as reporting, querying, and testing while operating in a standby role. The course also covers the architecture and new features of Oracle Data Guard 12c, including Oracle Active Data Guard, Far Sync, rolling upgrades, and snapshot standby databases, while providing practical knowledge on how to manage and troubleshoot a Data Guard configuration.
